The Empire Duet Concert Artist Bench is an attractive, luxurious adjustable piano bench that offers superb quality at a very affordable price. This piano bench comes in a black high polish finish, is constructed of 100% hardwood, and features a heavy-duty adjustable raising mechanism, which allows for an adjustable height of 19" to 22". The artist bench has spade legs, which have rubber bumpers on the bottom to protect your floor from damage.

The dimensions of this duet piano bench are 35" width x 15" depth. This is on the larger scale of duet/grand piano benches. You will notice other benches on Amazon listed as a duet or grand bench, are 30" wide.

This piano bench does not have a music storage compartment--which is intentional. The highest quality artist benches do not have music compartments--instead, they use the space to include a stronger/more heavy duty lifting mechanism, and additional foam padding. Not only are you sitting on more foam, which is more comfortable, but as the foam is thicker, it will last longer, and not break down as quickly as a bench with a music compartment.
